I'm Steve, known as MrMagicBubbles – a bubble and balloon entertainer bringing joy, laughter and amazement to birthdays, schools, nurseries, corporate and family events across London. With years of experience and a truly bubbly personality, I know exactly how to make children (and adults!) laugh, shout "wow!", and remember the show long after the last bubble pops.

Once the bubble is in my hands, the real magic begins.

I start the show by blowing a tiny bubble into a big one on my hand – it always escapes, and that's when the laughter begins! White bubbles appear and float like tiny clouds, bubble ice cream, bubble snow, each child inside a giant bubble, but the most thrilling moment comes when I invite the birthday child to help me… and together we make the bubble burst into real fire! (Don't worry – it's 100% safe!)

Is a bubble party better indoors or outdoors?

I can perform indoors or outdoors! The best combination is both: first the indoor bubble show, then big outdoor bubbles.
Please note that fire bubbles and kids inside the bubble can only be done indoors (no wind).

Do you need a lot of space? Will it be messy?

Don’t worry – I can perform even in a kitchen or hallway! I just need enough space for all the children to sit and around a 2x2m area for my bubble magic — that’s all! I always use floor protection, and when the party is over, your floor stays dry and clean.

How long is your show?

I now keep things simple – I offer two options:
-1.5 hours – bubbles + balloons for everyone
-50 minutes – bubbles only

I’m a bit worried – 1.5 hours sounds quite long. Can children really stay focused that long? Additionally, our party only lasts 2 hours – will we have time to blow out the candles, etc.?

t’s true – a 1.5-hour show with bubbles and balloons might sound long, but don’t worry! The first 40–45 minutes are a funny, engaging bubble show, and after that comes the balloon part. I only need the children’s full attention for about 45 minutes during the show. Then it’s time for balloon modelling – perfect for cake or lunch – while I continue making balloons for everyone in the background.
The whole time stays lively, relaxed, and fun – not too long, not too short, just right for their age.
To sum up: a 1.5-hour show fits perfectly into a 2-hour party.

What about the birthday child?

The birthday boy or girl is always the star of the show!
They’ll be the first one to get locked inside the giant bubble, will be my helper with a fire bubble and will receive a special white bubble that stays on their hand!
(If you think your child might feel shy or uncomfortable being in the spotlight, just let me know – I’ll make sure they feel relaxed and happy.)

Is 3/6/9 years old a good age?

Yes! My show entertains children from 2 to 10 years old... actually, there’s no upper limit – adults love it too!
(I also adjust the show depending on the age – it’s a bit different for toddlers and for older kids.)

My child is autistic and non-verbal, and a few children at the party will be in wheelchairs — it might be a bit different from a standard party, but we really want to make it happen. Is this something you could help with?

Absolutely yes! I have a lot of experience working with children with special educational needs – (for example, I regularly perform for the Tresham Centre for Children and Young People with Disabilities). I also do shows for SEN schools and have performed at many private events for children with additional needs.
I’m very flexible and will always do my best to make sure your child has an amazing experience, even if they have unique or non-standard needs.

Can you help with singing “Happy Birthday”? Do you also do games or disco?

Of course, I’m always happy to help gather the children and lead the Happy Birthday song – it’s the most important moment of the party!
I don’t run full disco sessions or organised games – my main show is all about bubbles and balloons, with plenty of funny interaction, laughter and participation – more than enough to keep everyone entertained!
